Mr Lionel Clarke, didn't leave home without wearing a jacket, soft spoken, loved his neighborhood, especially the bookies in Hornsey. Also loved Barbados, he adapted to life easily and once lived at the famous Oistins. Which is a Barbados landmark. The house is still there. Told him once I needed a plant which carried a yellow flower. Lionel turned up with cuttings which I planted in Hillaby. He was every bit British but enjoyed Barbadians cuisine especially some of liquid that burn the throat😚. His favorite child, Jackie, there was a bond between those two. Now ya all, don't stone me.
